About the Trust

You will join a team committed to safe, patient-focused cancer care while benefiting from structured training, mentoring, and professional development.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver pharmaceutical care to oncology and haematology patients under the supervision of the Lead Pharmacist

  • Act as the Specialist Biologics Pharmacist, developing services for patients receiving biologic therapies

  • Monitor prescriptions and ensure safe, compliant prescribing aligned with NHS England and local policies

  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams in the Primrose Oncology Unit, Haematology Department, and Day Treatment Unit (DTU)

  • Monitor and check chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition products (training provided)

  • Support the training of other pharmacists in aseptics and chemotherapy checking

  • Contribute to audits, clinical reviews, drug usage evaluations, and service development

What We’re Looking For

  • Registered Pharmacist with GPhC

  • Previous hospital pharmacy experience (essential)

  • Experience in oncology, haematology, or aseptics (strongly preferred)

  • Passion for improving patient outcomes and safety

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills

  • Willingness to work across both Trust sites if required
