You will join a team committed to safe, patient-focused cancer care while benefiting from structured training, mentoring, and professional development.
Your Key Responsibilities
-
Deliver pharmaceutical care to oncology and haematology patients under the supervision of the Lead Pharmacist
-
Act as the Specialist Biologics Pharmacist, developing services for patients receiving biologic therapies
-
Monitor prescriptions and ensure safe, compliant prescribing aligned with NHS England and local policies
-
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams in the Primrose Oncology Unit, Haematology Department, and Day Treatment Unit (DTU)
-
Monitor and check chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition products (training provided)

Support the training of other pharmacists in aseptics and chemotherapy checking

Contribute to audits, clinical reviews, drug usage evaluations, and service development
What We’re Looking For
-
Registered Pharmacist with GPhC
-
Previous hospital pharmacy experience (essential)

Experience in oncology, haematology, or aseptics (strongly preferred)

Passion for improving patient outcomes and safety

Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
-
Willingness to work across both Trust sites if required
