How You’ll Make an Impact
As a Sales Executive at Brown & Brown Northwest, you will play a key role in driving the growth of our organization by acquiring new business, deepening existing relationships, and delivering comprehensive risk management solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:

Generate new business opportunities and grow BBNW’s client base through strategic prospecting and relationship building.

Partner with Customer Account Managers to identify and execute cross-selling opportunities.

Cultivate strong, multi-level relationships within client organizations and lead internal resources to resolve coverage, underwriting, and service-related issues.

Actively pursue prospects via calls, outreach campaigns, and in-person visits to generate interest in our services.

Maintain and nurture a pipeline of prospects by understanding business needs and proposing tailored solutions.

Monitor service quality and assist with claims resolution as needed to ensure a superior client experience.

Address and resolve client concerns or complaints with professionalism and urgency.

Promote effective internal communication and collaboration among team members servicing shared accounts.

Schedule and lead client meetings on a cadence that fits each client’s needs and expectations.

Support account teams in receivables collection when needed.

Stay up to date on industry trends and proactively inform clients of relevant market changes.

Become an expert in your designated industry segment through ongoing networking and professional development.
Licensing Requirements:

Must hold or obtain a valid Property and Casualty Insurance License in all required states within six months of hire.
Skills & Qualifications for Success:

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred (equivalent experience may be considered).

Basic knowledge of insurance and business terminology.

Highly motivated and competitive with a strong desire to succeed in a performance-driven environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Windows-based applications.

AMS360 experience is a plus; otherwise, must be able to learn quickly.

Strong interpersonal skills and a professional telephone demeanor.

Exceptional listening skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to interpret non-verbal cues.

Outstanding customer service and assertive communication abilities.

High energy, adaptable to a fast-paced environment, and committed to confidentiality.

Must maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record and adequate personal auto insurance coverage, subject to ongoing review.
