What You’ll Be Trusted With

Planning & Financial Analysis

• Lead the planning process (FRE/SRE/BP) across controllable spend areas, ensuring key account teams align with strategic goals and financial targets.

• Oversee controlling activities that maximize ROI and enforce disciplined spend management, while enabling effective decision-making in the field through strategic financial partnership.

• Deliver monthly reporting and analysis to help department leads manage trade spend effectively, offering transparency around risks and opportunities.

• Coordinate the Business Plan and Revised Estimates across channels, ensuring collaboration and accountability among budget owners.

• Support and challenge budget holders to align resource allocation with business priorities.

• Provide high-quality spend analysis and propose solutions to drive operational efficiency.

• Establish regular budget reviews and provide insights to ensure adherence to P&L commitments and accuracy in forecasting.

Business Support & Communication

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of complex business processes and translate insights effectively across key stakeholders.

• Lead financial workstreams for major initiatives and projects, acting as a strategic finance partner.

• Foster collaborative relationships with Sales and Finance teams to elevate business performance.

• Leverage data-driven insights to drive business actions and influence stakeholders through compelling, fact-based recommendations.

• Share best practices across field teams to drive process efficiency and training effectiveness.

• Continuously review, enhance, and standardize processes for improved financial operations.

Project Support

• Improve ROI analysis for capital expenditures and trade investments across key accounts.

• Take ownership of trade promotion management, including analysis of pricing and promotions to maximize budget effectiveness.

• Support the financial rollout of new business initiatives.

• Provide ad-hoc project analysis and year-end audit support as needed.

Team Leadership & Development

• Guide and mentor your team through active engagement, stakeholder management, and accountability.

• Develop your team’s ability to deliver critical insights and operational support to field teams.

• Ensure full team participation in planning cycles (FRE/SRE/BP), with clear objectives tied to broader company goals.

• Establish measurable tasks that align with strategic initiatives and promote professional growth.

Your Background and Skills That Matter Most

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (CPA preferred)

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance

• Strong analytical skills, adaptability, and a proactive, positive mindset

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with business analytics tools like SAP BI or Hyperion is a plus

• Ability to translate data into insights and identify trends and opportunities

• Effective communicator and confident presenter

• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure and exceed performance expectations

• Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry is a strong advantage

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary Range: $124,000 – $186,600 (plus additional cash incentives)

• Actual salary offers will depend on experience and qualifications.

• The salary range is subject to change based on market conditions.
