Position Overview
As an Assistant Brand Manager for Mass Market Cigars, you’ll play a key role in supporting the brand team in developing, executing, and tracking performance of marketing initiatives for both existing products and new launches. This role contributes to the alignment of marketing and sales strategies and supports promotional program development to enhance brand impact and market reach.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Contribute to the execution of go-to-market strategies including product distribution, pricing, advertising, and sales promotions

Collaborate closely with Marketing and Trade Marketing teams to implement approved marketing plans

Maintain accurate, up-to-date records across multiple project areas, including:

Budgets and actual spend compared to forecasts

Progress of product and consumer research for assigned brands

Sales and market share performance by region or market

Cost center and budget reporting
-

Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Marketing Manager

Assist in planning, execution, and analysis of marketing research projects focused on products, consumer behavior, and sales insights

Evaluate market trends and assess potential opportunities

Help create and manage point-of-sale (POS) materials and coordinate with external suppliers

Support packaging development for both standard and promotional SKUs
-
Partner with the CRM Manager to ensure accurate execution of customer campaigns and support ROI analysis
What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field required; MBA strongly preferred
-
2–4 years of experience in marketing, brand management, or promotional planning within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry

Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines

Self-driven, strategic thinker with a strong collaborative mindset

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret both quantitative and qualitative research

Excellent communication and presentation skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Compensation

Annual Base Salary Range: $90,000 – $120,000

Eligible for performance-based annual bonus
