Position: Accounting & Tax Client Manager
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: On-site in Tempe, AZ
Salary: $65,000 – $75,000 per year (commensurate with experience)

• You have 3–5 years of public accounting experience in bookkeeping and tax

• You’re proficient in QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online (QBO certification is a plus)

• You’re an EA (Enrolled Agent) or working toward becoming one (preferred)

• Experience with UltraTax and the Thomson Reuters Suite is a plus, though not required

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing and reconciling accounts, including accepting bank feeds and entering journal entries

• Handling deposits, after-the-fact payroll, and preparing quarterly and annual payroll reports

• Preparing Transaction Privilege Tax (TPT) filings

• Collaborating on accounting and tax review processes

• Assisting in tax planning and client advisory services

• Meeting and communicating with clients

• Preparing individual and corporate tax returns

• Conducting quality control and review of completed work

• Managing multiple projects independently

• Delivering timely and accurate financial and tax reporting to clients

• Participating in cross-training and joining senior staff in client/prospect meetings

• Consistently providing exceptional customer service and fostering respectful client and team relationships

• Actively pursuing professional development and continuing education
