Event Social Media Manager

Your Role:

As Social Media Manager, you’ll shape and execute a social media strategy that captures the energy of our event. You’ll be the voice of the tournament across platforms — inspiring fans, energizing participants, and creating a digital experience as exciting as the game itself.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Develop and implement dynamic, platform-specific social media strategies.

•  Create high-quality, engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.

•  Monitor real-time trends, mentions, and fan engagement opportunities.

•  Manage a robust content calendar to drive consistent and timely event coverage.

•  Collaborate with athletes, sponsors, partners, and internal teams for campaigns and cross-promotion.

•  Track and report on performance metrics; adapt strategy as needed.

•  Respond to comments, DMs, and mentions quickly and professionally.

•  Provide regular updates and insights to stakeholders.

•  Be available and on-site over the weekend of the tournament.

What You’ll Bring:

•  2+ years managing social media for large-scale events (sports preferred).

•  Deep knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and analytics.

•  Creative communicator with strong writing and storytelling skills.

•  Experience with short-form video, real-time posting, and event-day content delivery.

•  Confident collaborator with excellent organizational and project management skills.

•  A genuine passion for sports and community engagement.

•  Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.
