We’re now hiring a Social Media & Content Creation Manager to join our Insight, Innovation & Marketing (IIM) team. Based in Kirkham, Preston, this hybrid role is your opportunity to create cultural relevance and social engagement for Kepak’s brands, especially with under-30s audiences.
Your Mission
Use bold, trend-led content across TikTok, Instagram, Meta, and X to:

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Execution

Plan, shoot, and edit short-form videos weekly using trending formats and audio
-
Align content calendar with brand campaigns, retail moments, and cultural events like Love Island or Spotify Wrapped
Campaign Development
-
Lead social-first executions for brand campaigns
-
Launch UGC competitions and TikTok challenges (e.g. “Duet with us”)
Community Engagement
-
Monitor comments and tags daily, responding in a cheeky, fun, brand-consistent tone
-
Build connections with micro-influencers and content creators
Trend & Culture Scanning
-
Constantly track Gen Z trends, memes, and viral content
-
Identify and act on cultural opportunities in real time
-
Collaborate with the brand team to translate trends into engaging content
Performance & Optimization
-
Report weekly on metrics like engagement, shares, views, FYP appearances
-
Use insights to refine content strategy and double down on what resonates
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with Brand, Shopper Marketing, and Design teams

Support retail activity through socially aligned content (e.g. promotions, new product launches)
What We’re Looking For
Experience:

5+ years in social media management
-
FMCG brand experience preferred
-
Strong content portfolio (especially video and TikTok)
Skills & Attributes:

Excellent trendspotting, creative storytelling, and platform expertise

Strategic thinker with commercial awareness
