The Opportunity: Human Resources Manager – Operations

We are seeking a dynamic Human Resources Manager to support our U.S. manufacturing operations. Based in Vancouver, WA, this role partners closely with leadership across our Camas (WA), Vancouver (WA), and Hillsboro (OR) facilities to attract, develop, and retain top talent. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone with strong HR expertise in a manufacturing setting, a passion for people, and the ability to operate with integrity and influence.

Travel to Camas and Hillsboro is required 1–2 days per week.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for all employees and leaders within manufacturing operations

  • Lead recruitment efforts, working closely with managers to attract and hire skilled talent for technical and production roles

  • Identify and implement effective sourcing strategies for entry-level and experienced roles

  • Advise on complex employee relations matters, including investigations, coaching, and disciplinary actions

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies; conduct investigations and resolve complaints appropriately

  • Support managers and employees with performance management, compensation planning, and career development

  • Act as a trusted HR advisor to leadership and operations staff

  • Partner with leadership to identify employee engagement and development opportunities

  • Guide and implement company-wide HR programs at the site level

  • Collaborate with corporate HR teams on programs, policies, benefits, compensation, and recruitment strategies

  • Maintain accurate job descriptions and oversee personnel transactions in accordance with company procedures

  • Track and report HR metrics and insights to support operational goals

  • Supervise the HR Coordinator supporting operations

  • Report directly to the Director of Human Resources


Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (HR certification strongly preferred)

  • Minimum 7 years of HR generalist/manager experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing or high-tech environment

  • Flexible to support employees on multiple shifts and at multiple sites

  • Proven expertise in employee relations and talent acquisition

  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance practices

  • Ability to remain objective and unbiased while handling sensitive issues

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and proactively

  • Proficient in HRIS systems, data analysis, and Excel/PowerPoint/Word

  • Experience using metrics or dashboards to inform decision-making

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills

  • High standards of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality


Compensation

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

  • Human Resources Manager: $90,000 – $119,000

  • Senior Human Resources Manager: $115,000 – $140,000

Additional Compensation:

  • Target bonus of 6%–8% of base salary

  • Restricted Stock Unit (RSU) eligibility
