Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to design and implement impactful HR initiatives that elevate the employee experience within the plant environment.

  • Play an active role on the site’s senior leadership team, contributing to the long-term strategic planning and operational direction of the plant.

  • Cultivate a diverse and inclusive workplace that reflects Home Chef’s culture and values, with a focus on engagement and employee retention.

  • Provide ongoing coaching, support, and feedback to team members, helping them realize their full potential.

  • Utilize HR metrics and data analysis to identify trends, diagnose workplace challenges, and propose effective solutions.

  • Drive operational efficiency within HR processes to maximize impact, enabling the team to focus on long-term business priorities.

  • Demonstrate strong emotional intelligence and business acumen to effectively mentor and influence mid-level managers and staff.

  • Collaborate with leadership on organizational design, succession planning, and strategies to retain and grow top talent.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and all relevant labor laws and regulations while balancing the needs of the business and employees.

  • Lead and support the HR team at the plant, fostering a culture of collaboration, development, and accountability.

This position requires approximately 10% travel.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience in a manufacturing or production setting; experience in a fast-paced startup or growth environment is a plus.

  • At least 2 years of experience in leading and mentoring HR professionals.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

  • Solid understanding of employment laws, HR policies, and industry best practices.

  • Skilled in coaching, change management, organizational development, and facilitating discussions across all levels.

  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-changing, high-growth environment with competing priorities.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills; able to build trust and rapport with employees at all levels.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace tools.

  • A team-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
