Position Overview

Siemens Software is seeking a results-driven sales professional to drive SaaS and Hybrid SaaS revenue growth within the Medical Device and Pharmaceutical industries. This role focuses on both new business acquisition and expansion of existing accounts, using a strategic, value-based sales approach to meet annual recurring revenue (ARR) targets.

You’ll be responsible for building multi-channel strategies for named accounts and new prospects, identifying industry-specific challenges, and tailoring solutions that demonstrate real business value. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and serve as a trusted advisor, while mentoring junior team members and contributing to overall team success.


Key Responsibilities

Account Planning

  • Set short-term goals and account-specific strategies to meet software and services revenue targets

  • Align sales efforts with customer buying journeys for effective resource allocation

  • Execute go-to-market plans, including campaigns, channels, and tactics for each account

Team Orchestration

  • Lead and coordinate internal and partner teams to execute sales strategies

  • Drive collaboration across functions to advance deals through the sales pipeline

  • Deliver tailored, value-driven messaging aligned with each client’s business objectives

Prospecting & Discovery

  • Maintain and qualify a personal pipeline to meet individual revenue targets

  • Conduct targeted outreach and develop new customer relationships

  • Identify business challenges, calculate ROI, and assess risk to position Siemens solutions effectively

Opportunity Management

  • Guide prospects through the buying journey, demonstrating the value of Siemens offerings

  • Build strong internal networks with key stakeholders and decision-makers

  • Support adoption post-sale by monitoring success metrics and ensuring client satisfaction

Sales Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate forecasts and records using Salesforce and related CRM tools

  • Analyze win/loss trends to refine sales strategies and improve performance

  • Prepare bids and reporting documentation to support management decisions

Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing

  • Participate in internal forums to share insights on trends, solutions, and sales best practices

  • Support the development of junior sales team members through mentoring and knowledge exchange


Required Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in SaaS/software sales, ideally within medical device and/or pharmaceutical industries

  • Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota in a consultative selling environment

  • Strong understanding of CRM tools like Salesforce, SaaS sales cycles, and digital industry software

  • Skilled in negotiation, conflict resolution, presentation, and stakeholder management

  • Ability to manage a mix of new business development (70%) and account expansion (30%)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, or equivalent experience


Additional Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship

  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 50%

  • Experience managing 15–20 small to medium accounts and carrying a personal sales quota

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business software tools


Compensation & Benefits

  • Total Cash Compensation Range: $106,100–$212,200 (includes a 50% annual incentive target)
