 What You’ll Do:

  • Join the Sky News Operations Centre (NOC)—the heartbeat of live news delivery.

  • Learn to operate, support, and maintain a variety of broadcast encoders and streaming equipment.

  • Assist in delivering daily news and sports coverage, special events, and live broadcasts.

  • Gain a strong foundation in video/audio transmission via IP, cellular (4G/5G), satellite, and fibre.

  • Work closely with experienced professionals across Sky to deliver 24/7 breaking news content.

 What You’ll Bring:

  • A passion for news, current affairs, and technology.

  • Basic knowledge of computers (Windows & Mac), networking, and streaming protocols.

  • Effective communication skills—especially under pressure or in remote support scenarios.

  • Willingness to work flexible, shift-based hours including nights and weekends.

  • Prior education or experience in broadcasting, AV, or IT is a plus but not required.
