We are now recruiting a Nuclear New Build (NNB) Quality Engineer to join our growing team in Alloa, supporting critical UK-based nuclear projects.

Purpose of the Role

You’ll ensure the successful delivery of Nuclear New Build (NNB) projects by managing and improving Quality Assurance processes and documentation. Your role is key to maintaining compliance, building client trust, and contributing to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, approve, and submit supplier documentation including:

  • End of Manufacturing Reports (EoMR)

  • Lifetime Quality Records (LTQR)

  • Welding & material certificates

  • NDT & coating reports

• Implement and manage Follow-Up Documents (FUDs).

• Audit and assess suppliers for ongoing NNB suitability.

• Create and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).

• Ensure compliance during testing phases and support project delivery to timeline and budget.

• Contribute to continuous improvement and cross-functional quality initiatives.

• Participate in client meetings and audits as required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Essential:

  • Experience in project quality within engineering or manufacturing

  • Lead Auditor qualification (current standard)

• Desirable:

  • Experience on nuclear sector projects

  • Understanding of ISO 9001, HSEQ standards, and quality documentation practices
