Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily HR operations, including employee records management, payroll processing, and benefits administration.

  • Lead the recruitment and onboarding process; design strategies to attract, hire, and retain top-tier talent.

  • Manage HR-related projects in support of the Senior HR team.

  • Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures to align with legal requirements and organizational goals.

  • Travel to various domestic properties 1–4 times per year, with additional visits to the Palm Beach Corporate Office and residence as needed; conduct individual and group meetings and provide detailed site visit reports.

  • Respond to employee inquiries, escalating complex or sensitive issues to the appropriate team members.

  • Collaborate with department and property managers to ensure training and onboarding processes follow consistent best practices.

  • Maintain compensation documentation and administer employee benefits programs.

  • Promote a positive and engaging workplace culture that supports employee satisfaction and retention.

  • Address employee relations concerns, including grievances and conflicts, in a timely and effective manner; provide guidance to managers handling challenging personnel matters.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; SHRM or HRCI certification strongly preferred.

  • At least 6 years of experience in a generalist HR role.

  • Previous experience in a small firm or family office is highly desirable.

  • In-depth understanding of employment laws and regulations such as EEO, ADA, FMLA, and FLSA.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to navigate sensitive situations with discretion, professionalism, and diplomacy.

  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Proven ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and open to learning new platforms.


Schedule

  • Typically Monday through Friday, during business hours. Flexibility required for occasional extended hours or weekends.


Compensation

  • Competitive base salary ranging from $120,000 to $140,000, commensurate with experience.
