About the Role
As a key contributor to WEX’s growth, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities within your assigned territory. This role requires a driven sales professional with strong prospecting and relationship-building skills. Your primary goal will be to consistently achieve or surpass monthly performance targets, including net new card acquisitions, fuel gallons sold, and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities

Consistently exceed monthly KPIs related to card volume, fuel gallons, and revenue targets

Collaborate with your Sales Manager to develop and execute a strategic territory expansion plan

Independently generate leads and build a strong pipeline of qualified fleet prospects

Accurately maintain records and manage your pipeline using Salesforce

Demonstrate excellent discovery, communication, and presentation skills throughout the sales process
What You’ll Bring

3–5 years of successful outside sales experience, particularly in B2B environments

Proven ability to acquire new clients and consistently meet or exceed quotas

Skilled at competitive selling and effectively differentiating your offerings

Strong capabilities in prospecting, lead qualification, and channel development

Experience managing a large or multi-state sales territory

Willingness and ability to travel by air or vehicle as needed

Ability to pass a background check
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Professional and confident communication skills, from front-line personnel to C-level executives

Team-oriented mindset with a strong sense of collaboration

Skilled in pipeline forecasting and management using CRM tools (Salesforce experience is a plus)

Familiarity with fleet management or commercial payment solutions is a plus

Goal-oriented, self-driven, and adaptable to evolving business needs

Strong time management and relationship-building abilities

Prior experience or consulting work in the fleet industry is advantageous
Compensation
-
Base Salary: $75,000 – $90,000
-
On-Target Earnings (OTE): $100,000+ (uncapped commission structure)
