Join Our Property Maintenance Team

We’re expanding our Property Maintenance team and have an exciting opportunity for a General Maintenance Employee (GME) to join us in Sunderland. You’ll work as part of a skilled and supportive team to deliver vital repair and maintenance services, ensuring our residents live in safe, well-maintained homes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and respectful communication with residents and colleagues.

• Perform general labouring and maintenance duties, including:

  • Assisting with bricklaying, roofing, gutter unblocking, and pointing

  • Replacing window mastics

  • Damp and mould treatments, warmer wall applications

  • Removal of furniture, rubbish, and debris from various areas

  • Installing or topping up loft insulation

• Work at height and in confined or external spaces as required

• Support team operations by collecting and delivering materials

What We’re Looking For

• A full UK driving licence

• Proven experience in labouring, construction, or grounds maintenance

• Familiarity with health and safety regulations

• A flexible and proactive attitude

• Ability to use handheld IT systems

• A desire to learn and grow in a practical, hands-on environment
