About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Construction Team Leader to join our Housing Standards team at North Yorkshire Council. You will oversee the operational delivery of construction services, ensuring housing assets meet modern safety and quality standards. This is a key leadership role where your actions will directly enhance the quality of life for residents across the region.
Key Responsibilities

Lead a locality-based construction team within the Housing Standards service.

Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and quality.

Deliver housing repair and improvement programmes in line with strategy.

Ensure adherence to CDM regulations and review/update RAMS.

Monitor team performance and adopt safe working practices.

Promote tenant satisfaction and continuous service improvement.
What You’ll Bring

Proven experience in construction or repairs delivery within the housing sector.
