QPR in the Community Trust is the charitable arm of Queens Park Rangers FC. We deliver inclusive and impactful community programmes that improve health, education, employment, and social inclusion outcomes for people across seven West London boroughs. With over 23,000 participants engaged annually, we are passionate about using the power of football to uplift lives and inspire change.
Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head of Education & Employability to lead our expanding Education department. You will oversee a wide range of impactful programmes, from our College Academy and Higher Education partnerships to school sport and employability initiatives. As a member of the Trust’s senior leadership team, you will play a vital role in strategy, budgeting, team management, and external partnership building.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and grow all Education & Employability programmes: College Academy, Higher Education, PLPS, PLI, and school partnerships

Develop and implement departmental strategies aligned with the Trust’s overall vision and goals

Manage staff performance, development, and motivation across the department

Build strong local partnerships with schools, councils, colleges, universities, and charities

Collaborate with fundraising staff to secure additional funding streams

Ensure all programmes meet safeguarding, equality, health & safety, and GDPR standards

Liaise with Premier League Charitable Fund on programme delivery and reporting

Lead on QPR FC Academy Scholar Education

Participate in matchday and evening/weekend community events as needed

Commit to ongoing professional development and CPD initiatives
Person Specification
Skills/Experience

Background in teaching or education-focused environments
-
Line management experience with a record of team motivation and development

Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and/or further/higher education

Budget management and fundraising experience

Proficiency in impact measurement and reporting

Understanding of how football and sport can inspire youth development

Strong safeguarding and child protection awareness

Valid DBS/Safeguarding/Emergency Aid certification
