Car Valeter and Driver

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive Vehicle Valeter to join our small, friendly team in Pershore, Worcestershire. This is a varied, hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for ensuring all vehicles and customer-facing areas are maintained to a showroom-quality standard.

You’ll be playing a key part in the preparation of used vehicles for sale, keeping our forecourt and showroom clean and professional, and occasionally assisting with customer service and administrative support.

This position is perfect for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working independently, and is happy to be flexible across a range of tasks in a tight-knit, supportive team environment.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Perform full valets on used vehicles, including:

  • Machine polishing and mopping

  • Interior shampooing and detailing

  • Touching up minor paint imperfections (not spraying)

• Maintain stock vehicles post-test drives and services

• Use of buffers, wet vacs, and a variety of cleaning products

• Keep the showroom, offices, and outdoor forecourt clean and tidy

• Assist with vehicle collections and deliveries

• Provide support to customers and respond to enquiries when needed

• Answer phone calls professionally and take messages when required

• Carry out basic office or PC tasks during busy times or staff absence

• Prioritise daily workload based on business and sales team needs

• Adhere to health and safety policies and ensure a clean, organised work environment

 Requirements:

• A clean Full UK Driving Licence

• Age between 25 and 65 (for insurance purposes)

• Previous experience in vehicle valeting or the motor trade is preferred

• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions

• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering excellent results

• Good time management and ability to work independently

• Positive attitude, dependable, and customer-focused

• Must be able and willing to work every Saturday (with a weekday off and Sundays off)
