We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Drivers Mate to join our growing team based in BL5 1EE. This is a fantastic opportunity to support professional drivers in delivering, installing, and demonstrating household appliances such as white goods, cookers, and TVs. You’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional service while ensuring the safe handling and transportation of goods.
Key Responsibilities

Support the driver with safe and efficient delivery of goods to customer homes

Assist with installing and demonstrating appliances such as cookers, washing machines, and TVs

Handle products with care during loading/unloading and delivery

Operate handheld scanners to track deliveries and update systems in real time

Maintain communication with the depot team to manage any schedule changes

Ensure customer satisfaction through professional communication and behaviour

Follow all company policies and Health & Safety procedures

Maintain control of keys, equipment, and documentation related to each delivery
Ideal Candidate Profile
A genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service
Strong verbal communication skills
Physically fit and able to lift heavy appliances with a team
Confident using handheld devices (scanners, tablets)
Proactive, adaptable, and willing to use your initiative
Awareness of Health & Safety procedures
Punctual, dependable, and professional appearance
