The Role
As Head of Finance, you will lead a well-established Finance team and provide both strategic and operational financial leadership. This senior role holds responsibility for:

Financial planning, reporting, and forecasting

Regulatory compliance and risk management

Business partnering with senior leadership

Driving financial insight to support long-term sustainability

Promoting innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
You’ll play a central role in ensuring the financial health of the organisation while supporting its broader mission to deliver positive change.
Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance team

Deliver robust financial management, planning, and reporting processes

Provide strategic financial advice to senior leaders and trustees

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and sector-specific regulations

Manage organisational risk and maintain a strong internal control environment

Foster a culture of excellence and accountability
About You
We’re looking for a confident and credible finance leader who is:

A fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)

Experienced at senior level (minimum 3 years), ideally within the charity or not-for-profit sector

Skilled in team leadership, change management, and strategic planning

Commercially astute and solutions-oriented
-
An excellent communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills

Committed to the mission and values of the charitable sector
Additional Information

Schedule: 8-hour shift | Flexitime

Workplace: Hybrid – minimum three days in the office per week (London W1W)

Eligibility: Applicants must have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)

Relocation: Ability to commute or relocate to London W1W before starting is required

Experience Required: Minimum 3 years in Finance Management
