The Role
We are seeking a Finance Manager to support our CFO and lead operational finance functions across the Think Better Group’s international entities. This is a hands-on role focused on financial reporting, compliance, team leadership, and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting, Tax & Compliance

Manage monthly closes for all UK/international entities.

Prepare accurate financial statements aligned with UK/US GAAP.

Ensure timely reporting and compliance with all financial regulations.

Oversee VAT (UK), BAS/GST (Australia), and HMRC submissions.

Supervise three team members (UK and Australian finance staff).

Handle general ledger entries and prepare year-end audit packs.

Review purchase orders, stock levels, and COGS adjustments.
Operational Efficiency

Identify and implement finance process improvements.

Manage cash flow, FX entries, and financial risk mitigation.

Supervise AR, AP, and payroll functions across entities.

Ensure accurate payroll, tax, and benefits reporting.
Team Leadership

Lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
-
Conduct regular 1:1s and performance evaluations.

Align month-end timetables and provide absence cover.
Requirements
Experience:
-
ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
-
Significant experience in a senior finance role within a high-growth, consumer-led environment.

Strong GAAP knowledge and multi-entity finance experience.

Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end month-end processes, AR/AP, and payroll.
Skills & Competencies:

Effective team manager and performance coach.

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Hands-on with accounting tools (Xero, QuickBooks).

Familiarity with Spotlight reporting, Shopify, and Stripe is a plus.

Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.

Base Salary: £55,000–£65,000 (depending on experience)
