About the Role

As a Store Manager in our Morrisons Daily / McColl’s convenience store network, you’re more than a manager — you’re a neighbourhood shopkeeper, leading your team and running your store like your own business.

With customers, colleagues, and community at the heart of everything you do, you’ll foster a culture of service, growth, and local pride.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Leading your team to deliver the best customer experience in the market, aligned with the Morrisons brand

  • Driving your store’s commercial performance with an entrepreneurial mindset

  • Recruiting, training, and developing colleagues, creating an inclusive and empowering culture

  • Building strong relationships within your local community and beyond

  • Supporting leadership and development at all levels through Morrisons’ Leadership School

  • Flexibly managing rotas and operations including early mornings, late nights, and weekends

About You

We’re looking for natural leaders and confident communicators with a hands-on approach and strong sense of ownership. Whether you’re from retail, hospitality, convenience, or service-based industries, if you’re passionate about people and performance, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience managing a team in a fast-paced setting

  • Ability to coach, inspire, and motivate to build a successful team culture

  • Confidence to challenge, influence, and think creatively about better ways to work

  • Strong resilience and problem-solving skills

  • Enthusiasm to roll up your sleeves and support the team

  • A valid driving licence is preferred

  • Experience in retail/customer service/supervision is desirable but not essential

Please note: The role may involve interaction with children under 16 (e.g., in our Home News Delivery operation), and therefore may require an enhanced DBS or PVG check. If the store offers Post Office services, a P250 financial check may also be required.
