Are you a natural people person or an experienced customer assistant ready to take the next step? At Morrisons, we’re looking for Checkout Team Leaders to lead, inspire, and drive our front-end teams to deliver first-class customer service.
As a Checkout Team Leader, you’ll be the go-to support for both colleagues and customers, using real-time insights and proactive leadership to make our checkout operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities

Act as a visible leader across front-end services using headsets to quickly support colleagues and customers

Champion outstanding customer service at checkouts, kiosks, customer service desks, petrol stations, car parks, and trolley areas

Create a supportive and performance-driven team culture
-
Inspire colleagues to contribute ideas and put customers at the heart of everything
-
Monitor and act on dashboards and performance reports to make informed, impactful decisions
-
Manage daily communication across service areas and coordinate activities with clarity
-
Ensure compliance with all cash handling policies, legal requirements, and company procedures
-
Reduce waste and ensure all “put backs” are managed promptly

Coach team members to grow confidence, knowledge, and competence
