This role goes beyond cooking. It’s about bringing care, consistency, and compassion to the people who need it most.

 What You’ll Do

• Prepare meals according to Sodexo’s approved methods and recipes

• Complete hygiene and safety paperwork (temperature logs, cleaning records)

• Support ward order deliveries and food service coordination

• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment

• Assist with dishwashing and sanitising processes

• Report faults or maintenance issues to your supervisor

• Follow all food safety, fire safety, and health & safety guidelines

• Take part in required training including Food Safety, Health & Safety passports

• Support the wider team with other reasonable duties as needed

 What You Bring

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work under pressure and follow procedures

• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (required)

• Previous catering experience (desirable)

• Team spirit and a hands-on attitude

• Organised, efficient, and capable of working independently
