About the Role

Marketing Manchester is seeking an experienced and strategic B2B Marketing Manager to promote Greater Manchester as a world-class destination for business, investment, innovation, and relocation.

You’ll lead integrated marketing campaigns across domestic and international markets, working to attract foreign direct investment (FDI) and drive economic growth across key sectors. You’ll play a key role in executing place marketing strategies that raise Manchester’s profile on a global stage.

Note: This role includes UK and international travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and delivery of integrated B2B marketing campaigns to generate business leads.

  • Promote Greater Manchester as a hub for innovation, investment, and business relocation.

  • Build and manage effective partnerships with public and private stakeholders.

  • Manage CRM and marketing databases to deliver segmented and timely communications.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (design, digital, finance) to ensure smooth campaign delivery.

  • Report on marketing outcomes and present campaign insights to internal/external partners.

  • Ensure brand consistency across all assets and partner campaigns following Manchester’s brand guidelines.

About You:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing or communications (essential).

  • Proven experience delivering successful B2B marketing strategies.

  • Skilled in stakeholder management across public and private sectors.

  • Strong communicator, collaborative, and results-driven.

  • Background in economic development, inward investment, real estate, or place marketing is highly desirable.

  • You’ll be based at the Head Office in Manchester, with agile working options available.
