IT Network Engineer (SDWAN & MPLS Experience)

Salary: £41,600 per annum

Location: London, Rail Sector

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and maintain the current MPLS network, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Support the SDWAN (Fortinet) migration as part of a large-scale transformation project.
• Troubleshoot, resolve network issues, and perform routine BAU tasks.
• Contribute to the planning, design, and implementation of network solutions.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure successful project delivery and system integration.
• Ensure network performance, security, and reliability throughout the transition period.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in MPLS and SDWAN technologies, ideally Fortinet however all technologies will be considered.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure, protocols, and security.
• Experience in both BAU network support and project-based work.
• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a dynamic, changing environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to network challenges.
• Rail sector experience is desirable, but applicants from all industries are encouraged to apply.
