We are looking for a Senior Sous Chef to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations and staff.
- Supervise food preparation and cooking to ensure quality standards are met.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on food handling techniques and best practices.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a restaurant or food service environment, in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Passion for cooking and creativity in menu development.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
