DZ Driver

We are looking for a DZ Driver to join our team

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles to collect garbage/recyclables to designated locations in a timely manner.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
• Load and unload as required.
• Working along side a general labourer whom is responsible for door to door garbage collection
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding garbage routes and any issues that arise during shift.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles, including checking oil levels, tire pressure, and brakes.
• Adhere to all safety protocols while operating heavy equipment.

Experience

• Proven 1 year experience in commercial driving or a similar role is preferred.
• A valid commercial driver’s license (DZ) is required for this position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.56-$28.56 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
