We are looking for a Heavy Haul Truck Driver to join our team

Duties:

– Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle to transport equipment and materials to designated locations; this includes but is not limited to using a lowboy with a jeep and booster
– Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer

– Ensure that proper permits are obtained before hauling equipment
– Secure cargo for transport using straps, chains, or other appropriate methods
– Follow all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle
– Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery details
– Communicate with team members to coordinate delivery
– Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and compliance

– Operate equipment on site

– Maintain accurate records of inspections, general cleanup and maintenance of equipment and vehicles used

Qualifications:

– Valid class 1 driver’s license with a clean driving record
– Experience operating heavy equipment is an asset

– Experience hauling a side dump trailer is a plus
– Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is a plus
– Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo
– Time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines
– Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
