We are looking for a Sous Chef to join our team
Duties
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and food preparation.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure high standards of cooking and presentation.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including inventory management, food ordering, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor kitchen equipment for proper functioning and report any maintenance needs.
- Help create a positive team atmosphere by promoting collaboration and communication among staff.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in the food industry, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role within a kitchen setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Excellent cooking skills with the ability to prepare a variety of dishes.
- Experience in bartending is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional dining experiences.
