We are looking for a Cook/Kitchen Hand to join our team
Key Responsibilities
– Assist in the preparation and cooking of all dishes.
– Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards, maintaining consistency in
taste, texture, and presentation. Ensure that all dishes leaving the kitchen meet the
company’s standards for flavor, appearance, and portion size.
– Oversee the daily preparation of ingredients and ensure the timely execution of
catering orders – Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including
proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
– Manage inventory, controlling food costs, and minimizing waste.
– Assist in maintaining kitchen equipment and facilities, ensuring they are clean,
organized, and in good working condition.
Qualifications
– Proven experience as a Prep Cook or similar role in a kitchen.
– Strong knowledge of cooking techniques.
– Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
– Excellent communication skills.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to
detail; ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
– Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
– Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
