Purpose of Role: Manning Elliott is seeking an experienced and accomplished US Tax Manager to join the Firm’s tax practice. Our tax practice encompasses a diverse collection of rapidly growing public and private clients operating across a wide range of industries.
Reports to: US Tax Principal
Responsibilities:
- Review US corporate tax planning and compliance engagements
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies for US individual tax considerations.
- Operates in an advisory role internally to team members and supports the training and coaching of junior members of the Firm.
- Works with our clients in a consulting capacity to provide innovative tax solutions.
- Actively supports and participates in firm-wide initiatives
- Participates in the firm’s Team Development and Performance Management program.
- Promotes the Firm’s Quality Control Standards.
Qualifications:
- The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years experience working in the US Tax department of a large or medium-sized CPA firm.
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a management or team lead capacity.
- Successful completion of a US or Canadian CPA designation.
- Demonstrated ability to implement complex and innovative tax reorganizations and plans.
- Possesses the technical aptitude necessary to effectively manage complex tax engagements.
What We Offer:
The salary range for this position is $105,000 to $128,000. Individual salaries within this range will be dependent upon skills, experience, and qualifications.
