We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team
Education
- Registered Nurse with current Certificate of Registration issued by the CNO.
- Maintains competence relative to current practice.
- Recent experience and evidence of recent related continuing education in medical-surgical nursing an asset.
- Training or education in Critical Care an asset.
- Current BLS required.
- ACLS an asset.
- CNA certification an asset.
Qualifications
- Must be prepared to work in all Health Services within the organization, including off-site clinical settings.
- 2 years of recent medical/surgical experience in the last 3 years.
- Experience or interest in Critical Care an asset.
- **The Hospital, based on operational needs, may provide education for the certificate in Critical Care to applicants who demonstrate competence in the remaining skills and qualifications below**
- Strong leadership skills and experience taking the lead in multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a highly skilled interdisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated ability to implement plan of care including independent and interdependent nursing functions.
- Demonstrated ability to participate in unit quality initiatives and measurements.
