Registered Nurse

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team

Key areas of responsibility:

The Registered Nurse collaborates with other members of the primary health care and programs teams within a health promotion framework. The selected candidate will work within the RN scope of practice to initiate, provide, and support health care services for clients facing multiple and complex health issues in the community

Educational and/or Professional Qualifications:

· Undergraduate degree in nursing from an accredited University

· Registration and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario

· Minimum five years’ experience in direct client care

· Clinical experience within a community based health care setting preferred

· Member of RNAO

· Venipuncture certification (or willingness to complete)

· Wound care certification an asset

· Certificate/Diploma in Community Health Nursing considered an asset

· Current HCP CPR

· CNA certificate in Mental Health an asset
