We are looking for an Assistant Vice President to join our team

What you will do

  • Develop and implement management reporting on flows and financial results for Individual Wealth Management business
  • Identify value creation opportunities and complete deep-dive analysis to support business casing for these opportunities, which could include but are not limited to strategic initiatives, technology investments and strategic M&A
  • Facilitate recurring performance dialogues with business unit leaders and with senior LifeCo executives
  • Report on sales, recruiting and acquisition pipelines and identify opportunities to drive higher conversion
  • Partner with Finance team to support facilitation of annual planning proces
  • Develop and maintain earnings forecast models, including short-and-long-term projections of key value drivers
  • Build, lead and develop a high-performance team to provide the opportunity for employees to realize their full potential while maximizing effectiveness and efficiency

What you will bring

  • 8-10 years of experience working in the financial services industry, with knowledge of the wealth and/or asset management industry or relevant experience
  • Strong analytical and conceptual ability; CFA designation and experience with PowerBI an asset
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to executive management
  • Ability to foster collaborative relationships across teams and influence through a variety of styles
  • Strong leadership skills including proven track record leading high-performing and diverse teams
  • Drive to set and deliver ambitious goals and maintain accountability for continuously driving improved performance, leading change and ensuring high standards
  • Able to translate complex topics into understandable solutions; deal with ambiguity and flexibility of approach
