We are looking for a Localization Program Manager to join our team
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in a project management and a customer-facing, consulting or customer support operations role.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with localization operations and strategy, localization program management, or experience in internationalization.

Experience in leadership problem-solving, combined with excellent business judgment and an ability to present to decision makers in a clear and compelling manner.
- Experience working internationally or in other languages, with an interest in other cultures.
- Ability to operate separately in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and global environment with proven success in project management, execution and multitasking in business process improvement and project management.
- Excellent communication skills and experience in influencing/communicating with multiple stakeholders at all levels of management.
Responsibilities
- Building relationships with product teams, educating them on localization processes, and advocating for global users.
- Monitor and optimize localization services, identify areas for improvement and new opportunities.
- Manage localization budgets, collaborate with stakeholders on annual planning and cost optimization.
- Develop and implement a localization goal and strategy, including identifying new business opportunities.
- Lead the localization of Google products, overseeing project delivery, cost, and quality, and managing vendor execution.
