The Phase Leader plays a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This position involves leading and managing a team of educators to ensure the delivery of high-quality early childhood education. The Phase Leader will be responsible for developing educational programmes that promote the holistic development of children, while also ensuring effective communication with parents and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a phase team, providing guidance and support to educators.
  • Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that cater to the needs of children.
  • Monitor and assess children’s progress, ensuring that individual learning goals are met.
  • Employ effective behaviour management strategies to create a positive learning environment.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s development and any concerns.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to promote a cohesive approach to early childhood education.
  • Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and implement relevant changes.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
  • Excellent behaviour management skills to maintain a conducive learning atmosphere.
  • Ability to educate and inspire both children and fellow educators.
