We are looking for a Equity Accounting Lead to join our team

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA).
7 years of experience in accounting or a related function, or 5 years with an advanced degree in accounting, business, or finance.

MBA or Master’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience managing project planning, status reporting, timeline estimation, issue tracking, meeting facilitation, project documentation, and with data analysis tools (i.e., SQL, Python).
Experience in the US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) related to Stock-Based Compensation (ASC 718).
Ability to have a collaborative style and work with cross-functional and international teams.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with executive management.
Excellent organizational skills with a focus on continuous improvement.

Participate in monthly and quarterly flux analysis, forecasting versus actuals, key trends, and highlighting areas of focus for management, including the associated internal management and external financial reporting processes.
Oversee the application of ASC 718, interpretation of SEC rules and guidelines, including SAB 120 and its practical application on business processes and its implication. Write accounting memos to document positions and assist in the disclosure roadmap.
Monitor, maintain, and improve ongoing processes which rely heavily on automated SQL based data analytics functions and SAP capabilities. Work with third-party vendors ensuring ongoing compliance to rules/regulations and internal policies.
Share repurchases, related disclosures, and the ongoing assessment of accounting and reporting guidance. Review and maintain related accounting policies in accordance with our internal policies, and report any accounting conventions and associated remediation.
