We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team
Representative Duties/Assignments
- Provides physical, emotional, and spiritual support to patients and their family members during periods of illness.
- Collaborates with the medical clinic physicians/pharmacist in monitoring medication administration records, checking for errors and educating the patient on medication compliance.
- Provides patient health counseling/instruction to manage their illnesses or injuries; in conjunction with medical clinic office visit, outpatient visits, and/or post hospitalization.
- Provides patient care by recording medical history and symptoms, scheduling labs and diagnostic testing, and arranging external specialty consultations.
- Documents the physician¿s treatment plan and ensures referrals for high acuity level visits are completed as ordered. Reviews results and communicates assessment/results back to physicians.
- Formulates patient education care plans to include medical and personal history, medications, and follow up orders.
- Charts and records administration of treatments and observes patients for deviations from normal conditions.
- Prepares clinical charts.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited Registered Nursing program and one year of nursing experience. Must possess a current Florida license as a Registered Nurse.
