Piper Companies is currently looking for an experienced IT Support Specialist in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania (PA) to work for a growing global life science company. The IT Support Specialist will play a significant role in the maintaining and troubleshooting of various devices and systems.
Responsibilities for the IT Support Specialist include:
- Respond to daily end user support requests (hardware, software, peripherals, mobile devices, copiers, and VOIP phones) for both on-site and remote users.
- Set up, configure, and roll out hardware and software as needed.
- Maintain, analyze, and troubleshoot software and computer peripherals.
- Assist in developing and documenting improvements to current processes.
- Test, image, and clean PCs, laptops, monitors, printers, and other related hardware.
- Stay updated on new and emerging security threats and mitigation approaches and perform periodic security reviews of assigned areas.
- Manage Active Directory users and Office 365 mailbox management.
- Test, validate, and qualify regulated computerized systems.
- Write documentation according to 21 CFR part 11 compliance for analysis sequencers.
- Assist with infrastructure maintenance, including Meraki Networking, Nutanix VM, and Fortinet Firewall.
- Manage server updates (Linux, Windows).
Qualifications for the IT Support Specialist include:
- Associate’s Degree in a related field a plus
- Exp with infrastructure maintenance, including Meraki Networking, Nutanix VM, and Fortinet Firewall.
- Experience working in a GxP environment.
- Proficiency in Office 365, Active Directory, and various software and hardware.
- Familiarity with different operating systems (Linux, Windows).
- CSV exp – (a Plus) Test/Validate/Qualify regulated computerized systems
- Write documentation according to 21 CFR part 11 compliance for analysis sequencers
