Position Overview: Advertising Sales Executive (Contract Role)

Our client is seeking a dynamic and strategic Advertising Sales Executive to join their expanding Ad Sales team. This role focuses on driving advertising revenue through the development of strong relationships with clients and media agencies, creating tailored marketing solutions, and managing cross-platform advertising agreements. The ideal candidate will bring a proven background in media or entertainment sales, with an in-depth understanding of branded content and integrated advertising campaigns across digital, broadcast, and live event platforms.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation, negotiation, and management of advertising sales contracts across digital, broadcast, and event-based media platforms.

  • Drive the full sales lifecycle, from client acquisition and needs assessment to proposal development and closing deals.

  • Collaborate closely with legal, finance, and marketing teams to ensure contracts align with both campaign goals and compliance guidelines.

  • Maintain up-to-date documentation on all contracts, renewals, and modifications within CRM and contract management systems.

  • Track campaign performance to ensure deliverables are met and resolve any discrepancies between contracts and execution.

  • Oversee timely invoicing, billing processes, and the generation of post-campaign performance reports.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, media regulations, and IP issues relevant to entertainment and branded content.

  • Act as a resource for internal stakeholders regarding contract policies, risk assessment, and legal interpretations.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in advertising sales, ideally within the media, entertainment, or digital publishing sectors.

  • Demonstrated success managing sophisticated client relationships and negotiating complex advertising contracts.

  • Solid understanding of advertising KPIs and pricing models (e.g., CPM, CPA), sponsorship structures, and branded content development.

  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, and digital ad platforms (e.g., Google Ad Manager).

  • Familiarity with advertising legal terms and media rights is highly desirable.
