With 54 Service Centers across the Midwest, we provide fast and reliable 1-2 day shipping to thousands of locations across 13 states. Through our Strategic Alliance Network, we extend our services throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Guam.

Dock Worker Responsibilities
As a Dock Worker at Dayton Freight, you will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading freight while maintaining a safe, organized, and damage-free process. Although this role does not involve warehouse work, maximizing space when loading freight is essential.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on all dock equipment

Accurately document freight control processes

Engage in Dayton Freight’s training and development programs

Be available for flexible work schedules, alternating shifts, and varied assignments

Follow all operational procedures and guidelines outlined in the Dayton Freight Driver/Dockworker Manual
Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old

Basic math skills

Proficiency in English

Ability to pass a drug screening
