Operating 54 Service Centers across the Midwest, we provide fast and reliable 1-2 day shipping to thousands of destinations across 13 states. Dock Worker Responsibilities
As a Dock Worker at Dayton Freight, you will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading freight while ensuring safety and damage-free handling. While this role does not involve working inside a warehouse, maximizing space utilization when loading freight is essential.

Perform pre and post-trip inspections on all dock equipment

Accurately document freight control processes

Engage in Dayton Freight’s training and continuous improvement programs

Be available for flexible work schedules, alternating shifts, and various assignments

Follow all operational procedures and guidelines as outlined in the Dayton Freight Driver/Dockworker Manual
Qualifications

Minimum 18 years of age

Basic math skills

Proficiency in English

Ability to pass a drug screening
