Summary

The Email Marketing & CRM Specialist develops and executes internal and external email marketing activities. This role supports B2B and B2C lead generation and nurturing, manages HubSpot CRM, creates email campaigns, analyzes performance metrics, and provides actionable insights to optimize campaigns.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

CRM Management

  • Administer and maintain HubSpot CRM.

  • Monitor data quality and ensure accurate customer records.

  • Build and manage targeted databases.

  • Create and maintain custom fields, properties, and workflows.

  • Generate CRM performance reports.

  • Troubleshoot CRM issues and coordinate with technical support.

Email Marketing & Campaign Management

  • Execute campaigns for veterinary professionals (AAHA members and non-members).

  • Build and manage automated workflows, landing pages, forms, and drip campaigns.

  • Develop monthly newsletters, CTAs, and engagement programs.

  • Collaborate with marketing manager on messaging strategy.

  • Write and edit content aligned with brand guidelines.

  • Deploy engagement programs to drive conversions.

Content Creation & Design

  • Build newsletters and graphics using Canva.

  • Create compelling content for veterinary professionals.

  • Ensure all content aligns with brand voice.

Analytics & Optimization

  • Conduct A/B testing and analyze response and conversion rates.

  • Provide insights on KPIs, user behavior, and campaign performance.

  • Optimize email deliverability and maintain sender reputation.

Additional Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Advertising, or equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years in email marketing, digital communications, or CRM management.

  • 2–3 years of HubSpot CRM or similar platform experience.

  • Proven B2B email marketing and marketing automation experience.

  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of multi-touch attribution.

  • Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.

  • Canva or similar graphic design tool experience.

  • Knowledge of CRM data management best practices, email compliance (CAN-SPAM, GDPR), and deliverability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • HubSpot certification(s)

  • Experience marketing to healthcare or veterinary professionals

  • Background in membership organizations

  • Familiarity with veterinary medicine

  • Experience with lead scoring, trigger campaigns, and HTML

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • HubSpot proficiency: Workflow efficiency and campaign effectiveness

  • Copywriting quality: Engagement metrics and A/B testing

  • Email performance: Open rates, click-through rates, link clicks, bounce rates, unsubscribes

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, hear.

  • Occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, lift up to 20 lbs.

  • May require standing for long periods.

  • Local travel; occasional overnight or air travel for conferences.
