Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve as a positive ambassador of Fortna and its capabilities within the marketplace.

  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for the assigned industry vertical, leading Fortna’s market penetration and representing the company at key industry events.

  • Leverage and continuously deepen domain expertise in supply chain and the assigned industry vertical.

  • Lead client engagements through a collaborative, team-based selling approach with clear and effective communication.

  • Identify and analyze client needs, shaping tailored service solutions that align with Fortna’s offerings.

  • Champion business case development internally and externally, guiding the creation of compelling client opportunity cases throughout the sales process.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both clients and prospects.

  • Manage time and financial resources effectively across target accounts to ensure a strong return on investment.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to provide insights on industry-specific marketing initiatives.

  • Respond to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs in coordination with the sales support team as needed.

  • Create and manage detailed account, opportunity, and call plans to maximize every client interaction.

  • Develop and deliver customized sales presentations tailored to client needs and opportunity-specific objectives.

  • Support Fortna’s brand presence at industry events, including trade shows and speaking engagements, as appropriate.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related analytical discipline.

  • Proven success leading complex sales initiatives using consultative sales techniques.

  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to establish credibility and trust.

  • Demonstrated leadership ability in team-based sales environments.

  • Solid business acumen and analytical thinking skills.

  • Passionate, client-focused mindset with a strong commitment to providing meaningful solutions while upholding company values and achieving business goals.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Highly organized with effective project management capabilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally across various sales and marketing initiatives.

  • Comfortable navigating change and working in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.

  • Ability to perform all essential job functions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience.

  • At least 2 years of general business experience.

  • At least 2 years of experience in supply chain-related roles.

  • 3+ years of experience with consultative selling processes.

  • Availability to travel over 50% of the time.

Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $115,900 to $165,800. The actual salary offered will depend on factors such as location, level, relevant experience, skills, and overall performance.
