About the Role
The Healthcare Account Executive is responsible for representing and selling Shamrock Foods products to institutional and healthcare accounts through a consultative approach. This role manages overall profitability and sales for assigned accounts, which may include hospitals, nursing and long-term care facilities, retirement communities, rehabilitation centers, senior centers, and other healthcare organizations that require competitive contract solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and grow business through cold calling, relationship building, and lead generation provided by the District Sales Manager.

Utilize product sampling, education, and consultations with specialists and brokers to create tailored business solutions that benefit both customers and Shamrock Foods.

Manage Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) accounts in compliance with established guidelines and product requirements.

Train customers on policies and procedures for ordering, receiving, and returning products.

Help customers manage Per Resident Day (PRD) budgets while maximizing GPO incentives.

Partner with Credit Analysts to manage customer credit, ensure accurate financial reporting, and enforce company credit policies, including payment collections.

Represent Shamrock Foods at industry conferences, association meetings, and customer presentations.

Deliver impactful sales presentations in coordination with other Shamrock team members.

Manage time, resources, and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Perform other duties as needed to support business goals.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience in healthcare sales or industry accepted.

Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare sales required.

Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

Strong communication skills with the ability to write reports and present effectively to groups.

Proficiency with laptops and basic technology tools.

Flexible, team-oriented, and able to adapt to changing department demands.

Must live within or be willing to relocate to assigned territory.
