Position Overview

We are hiring a Toronto-based Account Manager – Personal Care to oversee and grow our client base across Ontario. In this role, you will build trusted relationships with formulators, procurement teams, and R&D professionals while offering innovative ingredient solutions in the personal care and cosmetics space.

This is a remote-first position, but frequent travel across Ontario is expected for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of clients in the personal care and cosmetic sectors

  • Develop long-term, trust-based relationships with formulators and purchasing teams

  • Offer technical guidance and ingredient recommendations tailored to client needs

  • Identify new sales opportunities and drive revenue growth

  • Collaborate with international suppliers and internal teams to stay ahead of trends

  • Represent Potentia at trade events, exhibitions, and client visits

  • Coordinate virtual meetings with clients and suppliers

  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities and client interactions


Ideal Account Manager Profile

  • 2+ years of experience in account management or technical sales

  • Educational background in chemistry, cosmetic science, or a related field

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Self-starter who is comfortable working independently

  • Strong passion for personal care and cosmetic innovation

  • Willingness to travel regularly within Ontario
