The Role:

We’re looking for a proactive and digitally savvy Account Manager or Senior Account Manager to join our Client Services team. You’ll be responsible for managing high-value Prescription-Only Medicine (POM) accounts, fostering client relationships, delivering strategic guidance, and ensuring financial and project delivery excellence.

Reporting to a Senior Account Director or Group Account Director, you’ll collaborate closely with Client Services professionals and Medical Writers across global client accounts (UK, EU, US).

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

  • Lead monthly forecasting and billing processes

  • Ensure financial accuracy and efficiency across accounts

Client Relationship Management:

  • Provide strategic input to elevate client partnerships

  • Understand client goals, therapeutic landscapes, and market dynamics

Project Management:

  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and quality control

  • Proactively resolve project risks and delivery issues

  • Hands-on experience with Veeva systems (CLM, Approved Email, Website projects)

Strategic & Planning Insight:

  • Align account activities with broader client strategies and product launches

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts

Therapeutic Knowledge:

  • Stay up to date with relevant scientific literature and industry trends

  • Develop in-depth expertise in clients’ therapeutic areas

Team Collaboration:

  • Mentor junior staff and support account executives

  • Collaborate with creative, scientific, and digital teams to execute integrated campaigns

  • Participate in internal and client-facing meetings

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience as an Account Manager or Senior AM in medical communications

  • Degree in life sciences, communications, marketing, or related field

  • In-depth understanding of healthcare regulations and med comms best practices

  • Strong project management and multitasking skills

  • Strategic thinker with outstanding communication and relationship-building skills

  • Willingness to travel for meetings, conferences, and client engagements
