Position Overview
Veeva Systems is seeking an entrepreneurial Account Partner to drive the growth of Vault Basics, our suite of pre-configured, scalable R&D applications designed to help emerging biotech companies accelerate product development and reduce implementation costs. In this strategic sales role, you will be responsible for generating new business, managing executive-level relationships, and achieving annual sales targets within the emerging biotech sector.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as a foundational member of the Vault Basics sales team, championing the product as the preferred solution for emerging biotech organizations

Drive new business development and manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to close

Collaborate with internal teams to craft and execute effective sales strategies

Develop and maintain strong executive relationships with customers, particularly at the C-suite level

Stay informed about industry trends and customer challenges to provide tailored value-based solutions

Maintain a high standard of urgency, integrity, and customer focus in all engagements
Required Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in SaaS sales within the Life Sciences industry

Background in R&D domains or selling adjacent/complementary solutions into R&D environments

Proven ability to sell to and influence C-level executives with compelling business cases and ROI-focused messaging

Entrepreneurial mindset with a strategic and operational outlook

Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills

Must reside within reasonable proximity to the San Francisco, CA area

Compensation
-
Base salary range: $80,000 – $300,000 (final offer depends on experience, qualifications, and location)

Additional compensation may include performance-based bonuses and/or stock options
