Job Summary

Responsible for performing a full range of financial and general ledger accounting functions, as outlined in the essential duties and responsibilities. Leads small to medium projects with minimal supervision. Consistent and reliable attendance is required.

Essential Duties & Core Competencies

  • Financial Reporting – Prepares, reviews, analyzes, and distributes financial reports, including monthly, semiannual, and annual financial and operating statements.
  • Journal Entries – Prepares and records journal entries to accurately document financial transactions.
  • Account Reconciliation – Reconciles accounts and prepares related accounting schedules and reports.
  • Audit Support – Assists external auditors by preparing audit work papers and supporting documentation.
  • Regulatory Filings – Prepares various tax and regulatory reports.
  • Financial Software Proficiency – Skilled in automated financial management systems (SAP preferred).

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, and
  • Two years of general accounting experience, or
  • A combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the role.
